Clarity of Intention and Crystal Usage – Part 1

Crystal Alchemy, is an attempt to use crystals as a tool to enhance one’s own energies, which can give the leverage needed to effectively alter, and direct the elements of one’s life, in a more desirable and balanced direction. There are several crystals and gemstones which effectively multiply and enhance the strength and purity of the energies they come in contact with. A good example of this, are some common quartz varieties such as Clear Quartz, Rose Quartz and Amethyst. Other crystals and gemstones can take the energy they come in contact with, and turn it into a different vibration, which can often significantly influence the source of the energy it was received from (namely the bearer of the crystal).

Just like life, the quality of what you get out of it, is directly related to the quality of the energy that was put into it. This is why, for the Crystal Alchemist, so much emphasis is placed on the purification and refinement of one’s own energies, as being just as important as the actual application of the crystals and gemstones used for this and that purpose. The more one can purify and clarify their own energies, the more effective and purer will the use of crystals and gemstones be for an individual.

Since there is a direct link between mind and reality, and since every form of life is a spark of the source of creation, this means proper management of mind, body and spirit is essential. By accepting complete responsibility for our own lives, we realize we are the ones responsible for any good or bad manifestation within it. With that realization, we seek to find what imbalances in our life allowed this undesirable variable to manifest. We can often see that our own intentions may be self-defeating to us. If we can work to balance and purify our mind, body and spirit, we will effectively learn how to direct our positive intentions to the purity of our mind and emotions. Then by implementing crystal and gemstones with our pure intention, we will find their efficacy to be multiplied and enhanced many-fold.

If we are clear about what we want, and clear about what we may be doing to hold ourselves back from what we want, then it becomes possible to invoke change and invite what we need into our lives. Honesty with clarity of intention, is the vehicle that will get us where we need to go. Even if you don’t know how to get there, just by being clear about where you want to go, will create the possibility of reaching that destination. Crystals can be a powerful catalyst to take the pure intentions of their bearers and help them move in the right direction. But they can only help you most effectively when you have simplified and purified yourself a bit first, and then are as clear as possible with what you need help with.
