Cancellation Policy

For cancellations, we kindly ask that you notify us within 24 hours before canceling your lesson. If so, we will not charge you any fee or penalty and you will be free to book another lesson with that lesson’s credit.

 

Refund Policy

In general, lesson slots booked and paid for, as well as Pre-Paid Lesson Tickets, are non-refundable. In exceptional cases, please speak with your teacher for further information. Please note that if there should be a refund given in exceptional circumstances, any service fees incurred from the use of PAYPAL or STRIPE, will not be refunded.  

 

Privacy Policy

  • OneOriginStarseed takes preventative security measures against the risk of loss of your personal information through leaks and data breaches.
  • Anything discussed between teacher and student during a lesson is considered the privacy of the student and such information will not be given or shared with anyone else beyond OneOriginStarseed in any way or form.
  • For lessons, we employ the use of third-party services such as Skype and Zoom. The use of these services is subject to the privacy policy of those providers. Any information given or shared with those companies bears no responsibility to OneOriginStarseed.
  • The only information of yours that is kept on record is that which you enter into our membership system when you register. We do not make any use of this information beyond what we need to conduct the lessons. You are free to withhold any information that you do not wish to share. We promise never to share, sell or expose the information you entrust to us to any third parties without your consent or knowledge.
  • We do not store your financial information in our system. Any credit cards used for payment must be used through PAYPAL or STRIPE. If their services are used, you are bound by the terms and conditions of that company.

 

Lesson Bookings

We are unable to guarantee or promise any specific or certain time slot(s), number of classes or lesson length to any student on any specific day, month, year etc. Each student is only able to book whatever time slots are available on the booking calendar at the time of booking. Lesson time slots are available on a first come, first serve basis. There is only 1 months’ worth of advance bookings available at a time on the booking calendar. Any pre-paid lesson ticket package is purchased at each student’s own discretion. Please observe the usual patterns of availability on our booking calendar and consider your own availability before purchasing any number of Pre-Paid Lesson Tickets. Depending on the situation, there may be some special booking arrangements possible. Please discuss with your teacher for further information.

 

Lesson Recordings

For quality assurance purposes, we may from time to time record the lesson. We respect your privacy and will never use this material in any way that will put your privacy or personal information at risk.  You have the option during registration, to request to not be recorded and if you choose this, we will certainly respect your wishes and not record your lessons in any way either by audio or video. If you have already registered and would like to change your answer, please let us know.

Regular Adult Rate:                     

  • 1800 yen per 30-minute lesson slot

Kid’s, Teens and University Students Rate:   

  • Kids, teens and university students (up until graduating university) get a flat rate of 1500 yen per 30-minute time slot always regardless of how many lessons are booked.
  • To receive the discount for kid’s, teens and university student’s lessons it is necessary to purchase Pre-Paid SPECIAL Lesson Tickets and then use them to pay for the bookings.   
  • Please note: The name of the Pre-Paid Lesson Ticket for Kids, Teens and University Students is called SPECIAL LESSON TICKET.  This option will appear for you after registration. (Click the link below)

Group Lessons Rate:

  • Each student in a group will pay a flat rate of 1250 yen per 30 minutes always regardless of how many lessons are booked or how many students are in a group.
  • To receive the discount for group lessons it is necessary to purchase Pre-Paid Lesson GROUP Tickets and use them when paying for the bookings.

The more lesson tickets you purchase, the bigger the discount you will get!  

  • Discounts will apply when more than TEN 30-minute pre-paid tickets are purchased at one time. (See discount pricing tables below for more info) ***
  • Discounts are applied separately at each individual purchase, every time you buy lessons. The discounts are not cumulative over time.

Referral Program (Free Lessons):                    

  • If you refer a new student and they mention you when they register, you will get a free lesson after they have taken 5 lessons!
  • Then when they have studied for a total of ten lessons, you will get one more free lesson. These lessons will be rewarded as free Pre-Paid lesson tickets and will appear on your MY ACCOUNT page under the PRE-PAID TICKETS section. They will be labeled as a REWARD TICKET. (Click the link below)

PRE-PAID LESSON TICKETS

Pre-Paid Lesson Tickets means:

 

  • You buy a packet of Pre-Paid Lesson tickets in advance in order to lock in a special discount rate for having purchased a number of lessons in bulk.
  • You do not need to decide the dates and times of your lessons yet. Your lesson tickets are valid for 3 months after purchase.
  • When you are ready to book lessons, these pre-paid lesson tickets can be used to pay for the lessons.
  • Go to the Pre-Paid Lesson Tickets purchase page : https://oneoriginstarseed.com/nes-advance-lesson-tickets-and-packages/
  • Choose the ticket type and quantity and then go to checkout to purchase them.
  • After we register and process your purchase, these tickets will be accessible on your MY ACCOUNT page usually within 1 to 48 hours but often within a few hours of purchase. https://oneoriginstarseed.com/my-account/
  • On your MY ACCOUNT page you will see a button that says PRE-PAID TICKETS. Click on this and a window will pop-up that will display all of your current tickets both used and unused. The ticket numbers will be needed when booking a lesson so remember where they are. You can copy and paste the numbers from the pop-up window.
  • Then when you are ready to book a lesson, go to the booking page: https://oneoriginstarseed.com/nes-book-a-lesson/
  • Select the dates and times for the lessons you want to reserve.
  • Fill out the rest of the form and under the pre-paid lesson ticket field paste the numbers of the lesson tickets here that you wish to use as payment for your lesson. (The numbers can be found on your MY ACCOUNT page as described above)
  • When you are sure all info has been entered correctly then hit the SUBMIT BOOKING button to reserve.

 

Additional info about Pre-Paid Lesson Tickets:

  • Pre-Paid Ticket Packets are available in packets of 1 to 100 tickets. You can buy as many packets as you like although the discount is only applied to each individual ticket packet and is not cumulative if you buy several packets at one time.
  • The more Pre-Paid Lesson Tickets you purchase in a given packet, the bigger the discount you will receive on that packet. (See the pricing charts for discount information details below.)*
  • They can be used anytime within 3 months from the date of purchase.
  • Each pre-paid lesson ticket is good for a 30 minutes slot of lesson time. The tickets can be redeemed back-to-back for longer lessons. For example, 2 tickets is a 60-minute lesson, 3 tickets is a 90-minute lesson, etc.
  • Pre-Paid Tickets can be purchased on our site by credit card using PayPal (with an added PayPal tax). Another option is to pay by bank transfer to avoid extra fees. In this case, email eric@oneoriginstarseed.com to purchase Pre-Paid Tickets by bank transfer.
  • Pre-Paid tickets are generally non-refundable.

At this time, we accept three ways to pay:

  • Credit Card (Has an 2 .9 % Service Fee) 
  • PAYPAL (Has an 3% PAYPAL tax)
  • Bank Transfer (No extra fees from us but check your bank side for possible fees from them)

 

CREDIT CARDS

We currently accept the following credit cards:

VISA, MASTERCARD, AMERICAN EXPRESS, DISCOVER CARD, DINERS CARD, UNION PAY,  JCB

** There is a 2 .9% service fee for using a credit card.

 

PAYPAL

If you want to pay with a credit card then PAYPAL is an easy way to pay.  All you have to do is register on their site.   https://www.paypal.com/jp/     Registration is fairly easy and quick. This a convenient and easy way to pay.

** There is a 3% PAYPAL fee for this option.

 

BANK TRANSFER

If you want to just transfer the money from your bank to ours, this is a good way to go and it has no extra fees from us compared to the PAYPAL option. Your bank may charge you a fee for transfers however so check with your bank for more information regarding this. When you book your lessons, choose PAY LATER and we will make arrangements with you. This is probably the best option for those who can do free bank transfers.
