The necklace itself is adjustable via the natural gemstone slider on top and can be worn at a maximum length of about 47.5cm (varies slightly per necklace), or as tight as a choker. The necklace length can easily be permanently customized by adjusting the necklace to its desired length via the sliders and then clipping the excess necklace braiding and re-tying the knots. The other option is to let the excess braiding dangle naturally in tribal style.
